Description

Single-origin Madagascar cacao, gently roasted and made for melting, baking and savouring

Flava’Choc Dark Chocolate Drops belong to Good Energy: our collection dedicated to mood, vitality and stamina. Here, the story centres on cacao, craftsmanship and the pleasure of making something delicious.

Made with organic cacao from selected micro-lots in Madagascar’s Sambirano Valley, these drops combine rounded chocolate flavour with fruity and nutty notes. Organic coconut blossom sugar and Spanish honey bring sweetness, while cacao butter contributes to their smooth texture.

Melt them into a dessert, fold them through a favourite bake or enjoy a few straight from the bag.

From Sambirano Valley to Your Kitchen

The cacao comes from selected micro-lots grown in an agroforestry setting beneath native trees. This locally adapted cacao brings together Criollo, Trinitario and Forastero genetics.

After harvest, the beans are fermented for approximately six days in wooden boxes, with regular turning, before careful drying on raised racks.

These steps help shape the chocolate’s character: fruity and nutty, with gentle acidity and subtle notes reminiscent of raspberry, strawberry and cashew.

A Deliberate Light Roast

These drops are the lightly roasted member of the Flava’Choc collection. The roast develops their flavour, while the formulation and chocolate-making process give them their smooth, versatile melt.

The cacao is never alkalised. Lower-temperature conching is another deliberate part of Flava’Choc’s approach to working with the bean’s natural character.

The result is chocolate with a clearly described origin, process and flavanol profile.

Cacao with a Measured Profile

Flava’Choc reports approximately 370 mg of quantified DP1–7 cacao flavanols per 100 g for these drops.

DP1–7 describes the range of individual flavanols and small flavanol chains included in the measurement. This provides a specific analytical figure alongside the chocolate’s flavour and provenance.

Flava’Choc also reports independent batch testing for flavanols, microbiology, mycotoxins and heavy metals.

Good Energy, Shared

A tray coming out of the oven. Chocolate melting in a bowl. Someone waiting to taste the first spoonful.

At Farmatuur, Good Energy includes the enjoyment of preparing food and sharing it. These drops make that pleasure easy to bring into the kitchen, from a simple chocolate drizzle to a dessert worth lingering over.

A little chocolate. Plenty of possibilities.
